Boom! The first episode of the revised podcast format has landed - and it is a cracker to kick us off 💥
This new format will bring your insights, experiences, and actionable advise from some of the brightest minds in People Experience & Culture Design 🤘🏻The idea is that you will learn how product principles and design thinking can transform your people function all in the time it takes to drink your morning coffee☕… or alternative beverage of your choice 😆
Today that bright mind is, Alan Wilson - Head of People Operations @ Tarabut Gateway.
Not only is Alan a really cool person to hang out and chat with, but he has been doing awesome work with his People Ops team to move the dial on People Experience and Culture.
Specifically in this conversation, Alan walks me through how he and his team created a People Ops Improvement Framework learning from Change Management to revolutionise not only the way his team works, but also the impact they can deliver to the business as a strategic enabler 🚀
In Alan's words:
“There’s never been a better – or more important – time to embrace a new way of making decisions. People Ops is such an important part of the organization – we improve the employee experience, provide policy guidance, identify training needs, and are responsible for the employee lifecycle…to name a few.
In a time where start-ups want to do more with less, you need a Process Improvement Framework in place to help make thoughtful, informed decisions for the betterment of your people and organization and to deliver greater value in lean times.”
I mean... YESSS! How can you not be excited by that sentiment?!
Really grateful to Alan for spending this time with me and for being so generous in sharing his wisdom and framework with the hole People Ops community to benefit from.
As always, I really enjoyed this conversation and I hope that you do too 💥🤘🏻🎙️
