Episode 12 - Ed Kirwan - Empathy Week - The Power of Empathy and How to Build Empathy Through Storytelling & Film
Today I am joined by, Ed Kirwan CEO and Founder of Empathy Week
Empathy is an absolutely critical skill to develop, at all ages, but the sooner we build empathy into our way of being the richer our relationships and experience of the world and those within it will become.
This is why Ed's work with Empathy week is so critical, teaching empathy in schools through film and storytelling from ages 5 through to 18.
Such an important and powerful mission.
My own son is nearing school age and I am delighted that he will benefit from initiatives like empathy which will help him grow into a more rounded and compassion human being.
Ed's work is incredible, and I am so happy to be able to share his story with you and I hope that you will engage with Empathy Week and promote it in any education environment you have access to.
As always, I really enjoyed this conversation and I hope you do too.
Enjoy!
